Btw, Ubuntu is shining on the desktop. Made me come back from Arch for the Jaunty release. Stable, fast, sexy. No regrets.

Hey, have your tried the new version of elementary yet? I changed the folders and the text on packages like you suggested, along with TONS of other fixes including WAY faster rendering for those SVGs :D

Good work. I'm liking the actions, applications and mimetype icons (specially the compressed archives ones).

But, consider improving the devices icons a bit, they look too simple (Computer, Monitor), and in some the perspective seems out of place (Drives). Also, consider doing simplified, orthogonal versions for 24x24 and 16x16, because the scaled down versions of SVG look bad (see how Tango does the icons for those sizes).
