Can you help me with this problem please? How do I change panel color to black instead of white? I've tried editing gtkrc-2.0 and gtkrc in the theme but it doesn't work :S

Can you give me a gtkrc with black text instead of white or something?

Hi,

I'm having some troubles installing theme...
The "background" of the File Manager is white, not black, I don't have "gnome-brave" icons, and I had troubles to install a "aurora engine" for gtk2.

My Linux is Ubuntu 9.04 (final).

If you could help me to set this, I would be so thankful =]

Ahh, I saw that you speak Portuguese (based in your OS language), If you prefer, I'm brazilian...
\o And Congratulations, Nice Theme =]

Coloquei aquele GlobalMenu e talz, falar nisso, conseguiu colocar o menu do firefox nele?

The only bad thing about that military course I took is that I'm not up to date with your stuff. Mate, this is awesome and I'm honored that such a great artist like you based a bit of his own work on my theme ;).

Thanks. I know what you mean by "exactly what I've been looking for". There's a lot of crappy or simple boring themes. That's why I did it to myself too ;)

That's true... It's sad, that on gnome-look most of themes are vista/mac rip-offs or stuff that looks a lot worse than it looks on screenshots. This is it - minimalism *and* fresh looking one ;)

gtkrc, line 164:
font_name = "semi-bold"

Change or delete this line, then menus will use the same fonts as the rest of the window.

What kind of font-smoothing options are you using? I can't get my fonts as nice as yours, I tried using Myriad pro, Myriad apple and Myriad web. Screenshot looks slick, gtk theme is wonderful!

I'm using 96 DPI, subpixel hinting, slight hinting

Depends on the quality of the FreeType library shipped on your distro, too.
